I wonder if that's true?

Yes, most girls know what they're "like." The mistakes we make, we make over and over again; maybe out of comfort, fear of the unknown, or just a simple self-fulfilling prophecy. We are all so different, and yet we're all the same. There is a "me" that I am comfortable with... I know what this me would do in this situation or that situation. Whether or not it's something that I actually want to do is a different story.

Time and time again, we will say one thing but believe another. We make excuses for why we do the things we do, and they are not only a way to explain ourselves to others, but they're our way of keeping ourselves in denial. Sorry boys, but most of the excuses/reasons we have, aren't for you, they're for us. No wonder we're so confusing. =/

Like even now!! I am pretty sure I do not have the love life I want. I know I could change that.... but I'm not gonna. Because even if I'm unhappy (which I'm not), even if I'm lonely (only sometimes), even if I know how to change things... I am too comfortable in my current state, in following my well-traveled paths, and too afraid of the unknown to break this paralysis and do something about it. =( oh well.
